Although Cabinet meeting was originally scheduled to be held today (13), it has been rescheduled to be held tomorrow (14) due to Maha Sivarathri observed by Hindus today.
Mahinda Rajapaksa group has capture most of the local government councils in the recently concluded election. Based on the results favourable to them, Mahinda and his supporters keep on demanding Prime Minister to resign and to dissolve parliament immediately and go for a general election.
Under these circumstances Cabinet meets tomorrow. Certain turning decisions are expected to be taken tomorrow.
