If Parliament Dissolved 70 MPs Will Lose Pension Rights…

Joint opposition members of parliament keep on stressing that the current parliament should be dissolved  respecting the verdict given by the people in the local government election concluded last Saturday. But as per 19 th amendment to the constitution the parliament can’t be dissolved before completing 4 ½ years except a resolution passed with 2/3 rd majority in the parliament. As more than 70 MPs are not yet qualified for pension, obtaining 2/3 rd majority is a remote possibility.
A Member of Parliament need to serve 5 years to qualify for pension. If the current parliament is dissolved before its term end, 70 parliamentarians will lose their pension rights.
