Sri Lanka All-Rounder Asela Gunaratne Ruled Out Of Bangladesh T20I Series

Asela Gunaratne, the Sri Lanka all-rounder, has been ruled out of the two Twenty20 Internationals against Bangladesh due to an injury to his right arm.

The 32-year-old sustained the injury “while diving during one of the fielding drills and getting his arm caught in an awkward position,” stated an SLC media release today (February 15), which added that Gunaratne will return to Colombo today where he will undergo an MRI scan before starting his rehabilitation.
