Traffic Congestion in Town Hall Area

Due to an anti  SAITM protest march by university students, traffic congestion has been  reported in Town Hall area.

Demonstrators demanded to cancel  the minimum qualification requirement gazetted and to release students arrested and remanded . The  protest demonstration is at the moment moving  from Town Hall Road  to Colombo Fort

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes .
