Wennappuwa ASP Interdicted By the IGP
Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said, that the Wennappuwa ASP was interdicted by the IGP with the approval of the National Police Commission for accepting 30,000 bribe .
Bribery commission officers have arrested Wennappuwa Assistant Superintendent of Police, Deshapriya Jayathilake Bandara while accepting 30,000 bribe on 27th February.
Followed by the arrest he was produced before the court and remanded until the 7th of March.
