OMP Headed by PC Saliya Peiris

The names of the Commissioners appointed to the Office of Missing Persons with consent of the President   have been ratified by the Constitutional Council. The Constitutional Council has appointed the members headed by PC Saliya Peiris.

Other members are Jayadeepa Poonyamoorthi, Major Gen. M. A. Peiris, Dr. Nimalka Fernando, Mirach Raheem, Somasiri K. Liyanage and Kanakapillai Vendan.

The Government allocated Rs. 1.3 billion for this Office through the 2018 Budget.
