Ministerial Delegation Heading to Geneva
A delegation comprising Ministers Tilak Marapana and Dr. Sarath Amunugama representing the government will leave for Geneva next Monday (19) to participate in the UN Human Rights Council sessions
In terms of resolution 34/1 of 23rd of March 2017, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights is required to present to the 37th session a written update on the implementation of resolution 30/1 on promoting reconciliation, accountability and human rights in Sri Lanka.
The 37th session will end on 23rd March 2018.
