Rishad Directs Consumer Authority Officials to Monitor the Market.

During this New Year festive seasons traders are offering various attractive discounts to public and put their unsold old stocks in the market to increase their revenue. There may be outdated expired items in the market. Innocent public in the rush may fall victim to the design of certain unscrupulous traders.

In order to protect consumers from this menace Minister of Industry and commerce Rishad Bathiudeen  has directed the Consumer Affairs Authority to deploy officers to monitor the market during this festive season.
