Rtd. Major General Karunasekara Further Remanded
Former Military Intelligence Director and Chief of Staff of the Army, Major General (Retired) Amal Karunasekara was arrested in connection with the abduction and assault of journalist Keith Noyahr in 2008.
He was produced before Mount Lavinia Additional Magistrate Lochani Abeywickrema and she ordered to further remand him until 2nd of May.
