Price Reduction of 48 Essential Medicines

Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratne, while participating in the International Nurse Day at BMICH yesterday said that prices of 48 essential medicines have been reduced. Reduction of prices of some other essential medicine too will be made within next two weeks, he said. He expressed his desire to expand the free medical service in Srilanka.

World Health organization revealed that comparatively health service in Srilanka is in a better condition when compared with not only South Asia but in the World too, he concluded.
