Weather Forecast For 13th May 2018

Showers or thundershowers will occur over most provinces of the island, particularly after 2.00 p.m.

Showers will occur in Western and Southern provinces and in Puttalam district during the morning too.

Fairly heavy falls, above 75 mm can be expected at some places, particularly in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Uva provinces and in Polonnaruwa and Kurunegala districts.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
