FR Petition Against Uva Chief Minister

Uva Province Chief Minister alleged to have forced a female principal to kneel in his presence at his office in Badulla. General Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers Services Union Mahinda Jayasinghe said, although several investigations into the incident have been launched, none of the findings have brought about justice to the principal.

The Ceylon Teachers Services Union will file a Fundamental Rights petition in the Supreme Court against Chief Minister of the Uva Province Chamara Sampath Dassanayake today.
