Fire Erupted in Line Houses in Pelmoral Estate…

Fire erupted in 12 housing units in the line house series at Pelmoral Estate in Akarapaththanai  this morning. All twelve houses were reduced to the ground. Fifty members of this 12 housing units are badly affected by this fire.

Furniture, house equipment, valuable documents, jewellery , school uniform and text books of students  were destroyed by the fire.

Cause of the fire is yet to be identified  by the Akarapattana  Police. Police carry out further inquiries.
