BBS Gnanasara Thera Before the Court Again In Connection With the Robbery of Golden Chain.
In the year 2008, BBS leader Gnanasara Thera and his 13 followers alleged to have robbed golden chain of two people during an incident. Eleven charges were made in the High Court, which had released them from the charges. The Attorney General has made an appeal in this case. The Appeal Court is scheduled to take up the case today. Hence, BBS Ganasara Thera and 13 of his supporters appeared before the Appeal Court today.
The Appeal Court today decided to take the case for inquiry again on 23rd November 2018.
