Gnanasara Thera’s Appeal against Sentence  to Be Heard Today.

Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera was sentenced to one year rigorous imprisonment to end at the end of six months is now in the prison.

His attorneys handed the petition to Homagama Magistrate court on 15th of this month.

 The appeal filed by Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary, requesting his release is scheduled to be heard before Homagama High Court today.

Meanwhile, Sinhala Ravaya General Secretary Venerable Maagalkandey Sudatta Thera said that he felt strongly that the Ven. Gnanasara will get bail soon.
