Weather Forecast for 22nd June 2018

Slight enhance in the prevailing showery condition in the south-western part of the island is expected.

Showers or thunder showers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Western

Provinces and in Galle and Matara districts. Fairly heavy falls above 50 mm can be expected at some places.

Light showers will occur in the Anuradhapura, Vauniya and Hambanthota districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Ampara district after 2.00p.m.

Fairly strong gusty winds (up to 40-50 kmph) are likely over North-Central, North-Western and Uva provinces and in Matale and Hambanthota districts.
