Matara Shooting Assailant Arrested…….

In a shooting that took place between police and robbers when the latter attempted to rob jewelry shop in Matara this morning; five persons including three policemen got wounded. One of the victims reported to have died later.

Police spokesman office sources revealed that the suspected assailant / robber named Shamara Indrajith was arrested in Matara by the police. He is a native of Veyangoda.
