Anuradhapura Schools Closed from 25th to 29th………

The North Central Province Education division  has announced that several schools in Anuradhapura will be closed from the 25th to the 29th of this month to accommodate police officers deployed on security duty during Poson festival.

Accordingly, the Anuradhapura Central College, Walisingha Harischandra Maha Vidyalaya in Anuradhapura, Zahira Muslim College, Mahabodhi Vidyalaya, Mihintale Maha Vidyalaya and Thanthirimale Vimagnna will be closed on these date.

Further, the Provincial Education Division has decided also to close schools in Anuradhapura, Swarnapalee Balika Vidyalaya, Vivekananda Maha Vidyalaya, Nimalawachchiya Maha Vidyalaya, Kammakalakulama Vidyalaya, Kurandankulama Maha Vidyalaya, Mihintale Muslim College and Mihinthale Model Primary School on the 28th and 29th of this month for the same reason.
