CID to Record Mahinda Rajapakha’s Statement Today

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) Police Media Spokesman Superintendent of Police Ruwan Gunasekara said, a group of CID officers will record the statement from former President and current Parliamentarian Mahinda Rajapaksa over the abduction and assault of journalist Keith Noyahr in 2008 at 10am, at the former President’s official residence down Wijerama Road today(17).

The Police Media Spokesman said despite informing former President Rajapaksa on several occasions to arrive at the CID to record a statement in this regard, the former President failed to appear.
