Third “Conjuring” involves a murder trial?

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Some of the first potential story details about the official third entry in “The Conjuring” franchise have gone online at Bloody Disgusting and confirm a report last year that the movie won’t reprise the ‘Family in peril’ scenarios used in the previous two entries.

Instead, the site says the new official entry will involve a Court case, specifically a murder trial where the defendant claims that he was possessed by a demon at the time of the murder.

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are expected to reprise their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren in the film, but James Wan isn’t returning to helm. He will remain a producer with “The Curse of La Llorona” director Michael Chaves taking over the Director’s chair.

Wilson and Farmiga are expected to have small roles as well in the third film in the spin-off series “Annabelle” which Wan is also producing.
