President Sirisena is due to meet with the Speaker this evening. We trust that this is an indication that Parliament will be reconvened soon.

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Several unconfirmed reports speculated that a special meeting between President Maithripala Sirisena and Speaker Karu Jayasuriya is scheduled to be held on Wednesday (31).
The meeting will focus on the matters discussed at the special meeting of Party Representatives held in Parliament on Tuesday (30).
