Windy condition expected to strengthen from Jan. 11 – 13

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Windy condition is expected to strengthen to some extent over the island and surrounding sea areas in next few days, particularly from Monday (11) to Wednesday (13).

Meanwhile, the showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, and Uva Provinces this afternoon (10) after 2.00 PM, the Department of Meteorology stated.

A few showers can be expected in the Eastern coastal areas in the morning, the Met. Department further added.
