“Rishad is the most trusted Minister by both President and Premier,” Dullas tells Parliament

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Minister Rishad Bathiudeen seemed to be the most trusted Minister by both President and Prime Minister in the present Cabinet of Ministers, the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Parliamentarian Dullas Alahapperuma noted.

Participating in the Third Reading of stage debate on budget proposals under the expenditure heads of the Ministries of Mass Media and Industry and Commerce in Parliament on Saturday (23), Alahapperuma stated “I congratulate Minister Rishad Bathiudeen on his success.”

“Minister Bathiudeen has been given the highest number of Ministries in the present Cabinet. It shows that he is the most trusted Minister by both President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe,” UPFA Parliamentarian stressed.

Minister Bathiudeen at present holds the Ministerial portfolios of Industry and Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons, Co-operative Development, and Vocational Training and Skills Development.
