Who was behind the Norochcholai drone?

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – A joint operation with the support of the Police, Special Task Force and Tri-Forces personnel has been launched to apprehend perpetrators after a drone was witnessed in the vicinity of the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant.

Security at the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant has also been beefed up after a drone was witnessed in the area.

Police said the drone was seen hovering in the air, a few feet above the Coal Power Plant.

Accordingly a special investigation into the incident has been launched by Police to apprehend the owner of the drone and to determine the motive of the person who manoeuvred the device above the power plant.

Police said a special team of the Navy has been deployed to the area to beef up security.
