Several areas to experience rains today

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology has forecasted that showers or thundershowers are expected in several areas on Monday (17).

Accordingly, showers or thundershowers will occur in Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and North-Western Provinces, and in Galle and Matara Districts, while several spells of showers will occur in Hambanthota and Jaffna Districts.

Meanwhile, showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Eastern and Uva Provinces and in Mullaitivu District after 2.00 PM.
