Showers likely in today’s Met. forecast

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Showers will occur at times in Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and in Galle, Matara and Kalutara Districts, the Department of Meteorology forecasted on Tuesday (25).

Several spells of showers will occur in North-Western Province, and in Colombo, Gampaha and Hambanthota Districts, while showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Badulla, Batticaloa and Ampara Districts after 2.00 this evening.

Furthermore, fairly strong gusty winds up to 40 kilometres per hour are likely in North-Central and North-Western Provinces, and in Trincomalee and Hambantota Districts.
