(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – The Bangladesh, as well as, the New Zealand cricket tour’s of Sri Lanka, that was on-hold, owing to the security inspection’s, due to the Easter Sunday Attacks, will proceed as planned, after inspections by the reggae teams of both boards, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) CEO, Ashley De Silva said. “It’s about 90 percent finalised.

As it is, it will go ahead, for the moment. We’re waiting for them to officially confirm the tour,” de Silva said. “New Zealand has given a very positive response. We’re waiting Bangladesh to confirm. The latter sent a reggae, who carried out inspections and returned.

Bangladesh will be the first team to tour the country, since the April suicide bombing. They will play three One-Dayers from 20-31 July.
