117 Billion Supplementary Estimate Sought to Purchase Vehicles For 30 Ministers

On behalf of Finance Minister, Gayantha Karunathilaka has submitted a Supplementary Estimate seeking 117 billion to purchase  vehicles for 30 Ministers, Deputy  and State Ministers .

Regional Development Minister Field Marshal, Sarath Fonseka has requested 7 billion for purchase an official vehicle for him. This is the highest amount requested by a Minister to purchase an official vehicle.

In this supplementary estimate submitted, it was mentioned that some Ministers have asked for two Vehicles.
