Man kills stepson with hammer

In a horrific incident two brothers were beaten with a hammer by their stepfather in the Korangi area of the city.

The attack took place two days ago and the brothers were rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

Hospital sources said one of the brothers’ who was three and a half years old was killed as a result of his injuries while the second brother who is five years old has been severely injured.

Siblings of the brothers said they were repeatedly assaulted by their stepfather.

Police said the man is on the run and a search has been initiated for his arrest.
