Kerosene Mixed 13,200 Litres of Diesel Detected

A secret operation of mixing kerosene with diesel took place for a long time in a house located in Malwana area. Modus operandi adopted is that Ceylon Petroleum Corporation bowsers, which is filled with diesel for distribution to various fuel supply stations are brought here and mixed with kerosene. Thereafter kerosene mixed diesel are delivered to fuel supply stations.

On a tip of received, this detection was made yesterday. Two bowser drivers and one assistant were arrested. They are from Kumbukwewwa, Maduwa and Kaduwala areas. On interrogating them, they told the investigators the main suspect behind this operation is from Kaduwela . They have detected kerosene mixed 13, 200 litres of diesel on the spot. Dompe policer carried out further investigation.
