A Separate Venue for Demonstrations

Minister Duminda Dissanayake stated  yesterday  that the Cabinet had decided  to  designate a venue  to hold demonstrations  and meetings .  The task of selecting the venue with facilities, which include accommodating reporters  to cover such demonstrations and meetings was assigned to Minister Faiszer Musthapha

However, Minister Duminda Dissanayake said, that the most suitable location would be the Galle Face Green considering its crowd capacity and effectiveness for such demonstrations.
