People’s Bank Employees on Token Strike Tomorrow

Ceylon Bank Employees  Union has stated that the employees of the People’s Bank will go on one day token strike tomorrow (7)  based on 7 demands, which includes suppression  of trade union rights, punishment meted out to trade union representatives, taking revenge, cancellation of working day etc.

Out of a total strength of 8330 people’s bank employees, 6887 are registered members of the trade union.
