In Menikhinna Incident 7 Arrested & 3 Policemen Wounded.

While curfew was in force last night (6), a group of 400 trouble makers gathered and attempted to engage in destruction. Police was forced to open fire on the air to disperse the trouble makers.

In the clash between trouble makers and Police in Menikhinna during curfew hours ended in arrest of 7 suspects and left 3 policemen wounded, said Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekera.
