Chief Prison Authorities of Important Prisons  to be Transferred

Minister of Rehabilitation, Resettlement, Hindu Religious Affairs and Prisons Reforms, D.M.Swaminathan reported to have given advice to transfer all Chiefs of important prisons in Srilanka to be transferred.

Accordingly, Chiefs of Welikade, Magazine, Bogambara, Negombo, Angunukolapelessa, Matara, and Kuruwita were given transfers. Further transfers in other prisons too are being done. This is a routine transfer carried out, said the Minister.
