Daham weds Nipuni in a strict no-social-media, no-photos wedding

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena’s son Daham married Nipuni, the daughter of Athula Rohan Weerarathne on Thursday (09) reportedly in a strict no-social-media, no-photos policy wedding ceremony.

The wedding was limited to family and friends, while no politicians were invited.

It is reported that the guests attending the wedding ceremony had to surrender their mobile phones to the security due to the strict no-social-media, no-photos policy.

The wedding ceremony was originally scheduled to be held at the Shangri-la Hotel, but the venue was shifted to the Hilton Hotel in Colombo following the Easter Sunday (21) attacks on Churches and luxury hotels including the Shangri-la.
