Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake has lodged a complaint with the Bribery Commission with two Audio CDs containing telephone conversation between Rajitha’s Secretary cum SPC Chairman Sayura Samarasundara and Avant Garde Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathi regarding money transactions.In this conversation it was clearly mentioned that Avant Garde Nissanka Senadhipathi has given Rs 5 million to Sayura to be given to Rajitha. In a subsequent telephone conversation Sayura reported to have stated that Rajitha refused to accept and returned it.In his complaint Ranjan Ramanayake said that giving as well as accepting bribe is an offence. Therefore , the Commission need to investigate this matter with both parties involved , he emphasized. Further, he submitted copy of the cheque written for Rs 5 million in this connection.
