Another 718 quarantine law violators arrested

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Another 718 persons have been arrested yesterday on charges of violating quarantine regulations.

The group had been arrested during a 24-hour period ending at 6 this morning.

Accordingly 61,001 persons have been arrested on the relevant charge thus far.

Meanwhile Police had inspected 2,082 persons entering and exiting the Western Province in 1,258 vehicles yesterday.
