Traffic lane law which gives police authority to arrest drivers, who change their lanes will be strictly implemented today.
Police will be monitoring the route from Jayanthipura to Colombo on the Sri Jayewardenepura Road.
Any violations will lead to an arrest.
In due course, the law will be implemented against reckless drivers violating traffic laws along other main roads.
main purpose of this exercise is to reduce traffic congestion and reduce accidents.
