Pensioners complain regarding delayed gratuity payments

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – A complaint was filed with the Sri Lankan Human Rights Commission by the pensioners’ rights movement.

The government allegedly suspended pensioners’ gratuity payments for more than a year, according to the movement to preserve pensioners’ rights.

According to them, pensioners as a whole have faced economic and social problems as a result of late payments.
