A special bus service for the festive season will commence from today.
Speaking to media , Deputy General Manager of the SLTB Raja Gunathileke said 200 buses will be deployed in addition to daily bus operations.
He added an additional number of buses will be deployed from the Uva province to Colombo .
Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Transportation Board has also decided to include an additional number of buses to the Colombo Central bus depot.
Furthermore, Raja Gunathileke said additional bus journeys on highways will also be in operation.
The special bus service will be in operation untill the 1st of January 2016.
