The OIC of the Warakapola Police Station was under the influence of alcohol while on duty.This was brought to the notice of the Senior Officers at Police Head Quarters.Two Assistant Superintendents of Police were detailed to visit the Warakapola Police Station and check .The OIC was then presented before the JMO by the investigation team. The Police Media Spokesperson said it was confirmed that the OIC was under the influence of alcohol at the time.OIC of Warakapola Police is now facing disciplinary action.
