The Wattapallai Kannagi Amman Kovil in Mulathiuv was a religious site often visited by Prabhakaran during the war. The site was flocked by a mass of people in excess of 700,000 from all over the country to celebrate the last day of the Thiruvala festival yesterday (02). The mass proved devotion by walking across fire and other religious observances.
