The former President cum, Kurunegala District MP, Mahinda Rajapaksa for his political activities and public relations decided to open an Office at NelumMawatha, Battaramulla. So called Joint Opposition Party Members, Mahinda and his brothers are expected to attend opening ceremony today.Former MPs of SLFP are also said to be participating in the opening.
Regarding formation of a new Party, last discussion was held on 8th February 2016 at Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Mirihana residence. This Party office will also be utilized as the Office for New Party, a spokesman of the party said.
The new party will be registered within two weeks.
