Minister Chandima Weerakkody said that it was proposed to establish an fuel storage in Kankesanthurai to save cost. If this facility is established in Kankesanthurai, CPC will be able to save Rs. 300 million, he said. On establishing fuel storage at Kankesanthurai, fuel to the North will be transported to the North on trains from Colombo.
