CID Investigates Parlimentary Brawl

The CID has taken steps to investigate the brawl, which took place on Tuesday in Parliament(3), said CID sources.

When the parliament met yesterday (4), the speaker said the committee appointed to investigate in to the incident has submitted  their  report.  In their recommendation they suggested stern  disciplinary steps against Deputy Minister, Palitha Thewarapperuma and Prasanna Ranaweera, said Speaker.
