Arrest of Seven Kelaniya Students For Ragging a Fresher

A female student has complained to the Police  that she was subjected to severe ragging by  seven undergraduate. Followed by this  seven students from the University of Kelaniya were arrested by the Kiribathgoda Police  yesterday .

The complainant  stated that she  was also verbally abused with filthy language and threatened by the suspects for wearing long trousers. The seniors had told he that there was a rule banning female students from wearing long trousers.
