Former Sri Lankan cricket captain and star batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan (TM) has submitted a false address to the courts with regard to the case filed over the cricketer failing to pay the maintenance and life insurance of his child from his first marriage.
This was disclosed at the No. 09 magistrate court in Colombo when Justice Thilina Gamage took up the case yesterday (10).
The Fiscal report says that summons with regard to the case could not be handed over as the address was proven to be false.
T.M. Dilshan is charged of not paying the monthly maintenance fee of Rs. 20,000 and a 03-yr life insurance payment.
The case was filed by Dilshan’s ex-wife – Nilanka Withanage.
