58 Conditions not laid down for GSP- EU Ambassador

In a  media conference  held in Thaj Samudra yesterday in connection with EU’s  cooperation for Human Rights and Human Resources Development, EU Ambassador for Maldives and  Srilanka, David Deli said, EU has not laid down 58 condition to Srilanka as claimed in Srilanka press for GSP facility. GSP granted to developing countries to promote  Human rights, Workers rights and environment values . Specially we observe and monitor development in these fields. It is only after we examine these issues EU grant GSP facility.
