Kolitha Gunatilake as AF chief-of-staff

Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilake has been promoted as chief-of-staff of the Air Force, with effect from today (11).

He is to be the acting Air Force (AF) commander until the next general election, government sources states.

The decision has been taken in view of the cold war between Air Vice Marshal Gagan Pulasthi Bulathsinhala and Air Vice Marshal Kapila Jayampathy.
