Channa Wijewardene & Nalin Perera Before Presidential Commission

Renowned dancer Channa Wijewardene and popular singer Nalin Perera have been summoned to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry  to record statements in connection with an  on-going investigations by the Commission.

A spokesman of the , Commission said, Channa Wijewardene has been summoned to appear before the Commission at 9 this morning, while Nalin Perera has been summoned at 12.30 this afternoon.

The duo has been summoned to record a statement regarding   financial discrepancies reported in organizing the opening ceremony of the Hambantota Harbour.

The Commission of Inquiry also questioned popular artist Jackson Anthony too over this  incident.
